You will see this topic come up again and again, because it is one I get asked about quite a bit. In this case, I was interviewed on the subject, and, as always, included the interview on my blog in case any of the ideas in it might be useful to some of you.

We all think we are going through this alone, and that no one else is sharing the same experience. Nothing could be further from the truth
We are all trying to figure out how to be and continue to be really good lawyers at the same time as we try to figure out how to find and attract the clients that we want to work with and how to make all the pieces of our lives fit together. I wish I could tell you that there is an easy, fast, fool-proof answer. But there isn’t. It is the same as everything else: do as many of the “right things” as you can and as few of the “wrong things” as you can, over and over, for a long time, and eventually it all starts to come together.
