We are delighted to share an exciting milestone in Southren Group’s journey. Effective January 1, 2025, Kelly Margani will step into a new role as our first Chief Executive Officer.
Since joining SGI in 2019, Kelly has been a cornerstone of our mission to empower people to think, be, and do better. As Director of Strategy + Growth, she has been instrumental in transforming SGI from a local practice into a comprehensive coaching and consulting enterprise serving lawyers and law firms across North America. Her leadership has inspired both our team and our clients, and her vision has guided us to new heights.
Kelly’s influence has been transformative. Through her leadership, our Know::Be::Do Method has flourished, infusing purpose and actionable insights into all of our programs and services. Whether facilitating firm retreats, leading strategic planning sessions, delivering impactful keynotes, or providing transformative one-on-one coaching, Kelly has consistently exemplified the core of our work: helping our clients create meaningful, measurable positive change.
In addition to her exceptional professional expertise, Kelly embodies the spirit of a true renaissance woman. Her breadth of experience —from strategic communications across professional services, technology, banking, and branding, to her flare for creative expression hallmarked by elegance and grace, to her ability to engage with clients on both a strategic and deeply personal level—underscores her multifaceted talents and wide-ranging interests. Kelly’s knack for seamlessly connecting ideas, people, and opportunities adds a unique and invaluable dimension to her leadership.
