The idea of the opt-in work week described in this article by Olivia Barrow was so interesting to me that I had to do a post to tell you all about it, even though it isn’t directly on point with the kinds of business development topics I usually post about.
It is, however, indirectly connected because we do all have to consider how we are going to staff and run our businesses and different trends in hiring and human resources should definitely form part of that thinking and planning process.
I’m still considering how I think this concept might be applied in a professional services practice, particularly in law. It would be tricky, but it is definitely something interesting that we should all be aware of in terms of trends as we think about how our businesses are going to roll out in the future.
